If you already work with an AI assistant, you can connect it to CaptaLog and ask it for the same things you would do in the app. It works on your behalf, with your permissions, and everything stays on the record.

What it can do

The same things you would do in the app, and only in the accounts you belong to.

See yours, create them, update them, complete them and delete them.

See yours and the scheduled ones, start one from a checklist, answer it and finish it.

See them, raise a new one, close it, reopen it, delete it and restore it.

Checklists

See them, create a new one, edit its questions, validate it and publish it.

Documents

See the ones in your library, write a new one and update it.

Projects and team

See your projects, post in a project's chat, read the announcements and see the profile of someone on your team.

What it can't do yet

We'd rather tell you before you find out.

  • Take photos or attach them to an inspection.
  • Sign, or mark the location of an inspection.
  • Answer questions that pick a project or an item.
  • Publish announcements.
  • Delete documents. That one it will never be able to do: we decided so.

On your behalf, with your permissions

We don't have our own AI or a chat. We open the door for the assistant you already use, so it can work in CaptaLog with you.

Only what you can do

If you can't edit a checklist, neither can your assistant. It sees nothing from an account you don't belong to.

Under your name

What it creates or changes is recorded under your name, as if you had done it from the app.

Across your accounts

If you work for more than one company in CaptaLog, you tell it which one and it switches accounts.

How to connect it

If your assistant supports MCP connectors, it takes three steps.

Add the connector

In your assistant, add a custom connector with the address https://app.captalog.com/mcp.

Sign in with your account

Sign in with your CaptaLog account and authorize the assistant. No keys to copy.

Ask for what you need

“Which inspections do I have pending this week?” or “create an action to check the level-3 scaffold”.
