Frequently asked questions about pricing
How is it billed?
Per user, plus what is quoted separately: US$12 a month for each person on your team who uses CaptaLog (US$10 paid annually); in Chile, 0,3 UF a month (0,25 UF paid annually). There is no minimum. Active automations and special reports — a report we build for your company on top of the PDF and Excel of each checklist — are not included in that price: they are quoted separately, per active automation and per special report. A paused automation is not charged, and your clients and guests do not count: their seats are free.
Do you count actions or form responses?
No. We count people, automations and special reports, nothing else: not actions, not responses, not signatures, not sites, not checklists. Your invoice is the same in the month you record a hundred inspections and the month you record ten thousand.
What is the difference with Enterprise?
None in the product: same features, same connection to your AI assistant. Enterprise is for organisations that need their own terms — user volume, contract, invoicing and support agreed with you — and is quoted directly with us.
Is there a free plan?
No. What is free is the fourteen-day trial, with the complete product and no credit card. When it ends your account freezes: you cannot create new records, but you still see everything you already loaded. Your data is never deleted.
What currencies do you charge in?
In Chile we quote in UF (Unidad de Fomento), the inflation-indexed unit Chilean contracts use, so the price does not move with inflation. Outside Chile, in US dollars. If you operate elsewhere, write to hola@captalog.com.
Do you give discounts?
The published price is the price: there is no discount for asking. There is one in exchange for something concrete — introducing us to a peer at another company, or a case study with your numbers. Paying annually is worth two months free.
