Collection route control checklist

In municipal or industrial collection, a route can be completed properly and still generate complaints: a resident insists “the truck did not come”, a neighbourhood association demands to know what time their area was serviced, or the council asks for proof that the frequency committed in the concession contract was met. Without a point-by-point record, the operation is exposed to perception rather than facts.

Controlling the route with time, photo and owner turns every round into defensible data. You know which points were serviced, which were not and why — a blocked street, an inaccessible container — and that information serves both to answer complaints and to adjust routes and staffing.

The check is also about safety: collection is one of the occupations with the most accidents in the sector, mainly from being struck by vehicles and falls from the footboard. Recording crew conditions each shift helps correct risky practices before they turn into an accident.

How to use it with CaptaLog
