HSE safety inspection checklist
General verification of health, safety and environment conditions in oil and gas facilities. To walk the plant in the field, with or without signal.
An HSE inspection in oil and gas is not looking for a single defect: it is looking at the overall state of a facility where flammable product, high pressure, toxic substances and people in the field all coexist. The risk almost never comes from one big isolated event, but from the sum of small deviations: a discharged extinguisher, a minor leak, an eyewash station with no water, a permit nobody signed.
The routine HSE walk exists to take that complete picture and organise it into findings with an owner and a deadline. Beyond the control itself, it leaves something equally important: evidence that the facility is inspected methodically. When inspectors arrive or an incident happens, being able to show the inspection history changes the conversation entirely.
