Common areas inspection checklist
A walk through lobby, pool, gym, corridors and public toilets to ensure cleanliness, safety and everything in working order. Completed in the field with or without signal.
Common areas are the first and last thing a guest sees, and also where most incidents happen: a wet floor in the lobby, a broken sun lounger by the pool, an expired extinguisher in the corridor. A single neglected detail in a high-traffic area affects the perception of the whole hotel.
There are also obligations that are not optional: pool chlorine and pH control, lift certification, extinguishers in date and evacuation routes kept clear. When an inspection arrives or something happens, you need to be able to show that the area was being checked and that faults were being fixed.
How to use it with CaptaLog
Copy this template to your account and the shift lead does the full walk from their phone, even where the pool or the basement has no signal. Every non-conformity is stored with photo, time and location, and becomes an action assigned to maintenance or housekeeping with follow-up until close-out.
