Electrical inspection checklist
Verification of panels, connections and electrical systems in the facility. The technician completes it in the field, in switch rooms and at panels — with or without signal.
The electrical installation is where the risks that stay invisible until it is too late are concentrated: a hot spot in a panel, an undersized protective device, an earthing connection without continuity. Any of them can end in a fire, a full building shutdown, or an electrical accident. Routine inspection is the only way to find them first.
Electrical installations are governed by the regulator’s rules, and work on them must be carried out by authorised installers with the corresponding declaration. Routine inspection does not replace that work, but it does catch in time what needs to be escalated — and leaves the record that backs management up with the insurer and the client.
How to use it with CaptaLog
Copy this template and adapt it to the panels and equipment in your facility. The technician completes it from their phone in front of the panel or in the switch room, even with no signal, recording each finding with a photo and its criticality. Everything syncs when the connection returns, and anything requiring an authorised electrician is escalated as an assigned action.
